REVISED SUBMISSION OF PROGRESS REPORT FOR SEMESTER 2 2019/2020.*NEW
Assalamualaikum and Good Day; In accordance with the National Movement Control Order as announced by the Prime Minister and the temporary closure of all Higher Education Institutions (HEIs),the University Senate has decided on the revised Postgraduate Academic Calendar for Semester II, 2019/2020 and Short Semester, 2019/2020 Academic sessions (as per attached). As such, the submission of the previously scheduled Progress Reports for Research Students on May 11-May 15 2020 for this semester has been extended to July 20 - July 24 - 2020(Monday-Friday).
Note:-For newly registered students (semester 1), you are required to complete your Research Plan (submit by student and must be approved by main supervisor) before you can proceed with the submission of the progress report. Please complete the Research Plan before submission of Progress Report week. To check your Research Plan status, please find Student ecommunity>Postgraduate student>Research Plan).
Upon approval by MPSU no.5/2016 dated 18/07/2016, for students who have submitted the Draft Thesis to IPS and are waiting for VIVA, completed VIVA, waiting for the hardbound submission or waiting for UMP Senate approval are exempted from submitting the progress report.
