Our Research Methodology courses are now in OpenLearning!
We are happy to announce the launch of our first Massive Open Online Course (MOOC) starting in July 2017.
All new research (Master or PhD) students who have registered starting on intake Semester 2 2016/2017 will be automatically invited to join our first MOOC via OpenLearning platform. You will receive either an email from OpenLearning or a code that generated by IPS staff. However, you will have to sign up a new account to enrol in these courses.
WHAT IS MOOC?
A massive open online course (MOOC /muːk/) is an online course aimed at unlimited participation and open access via the web. In addition to traditional course materials such as filmed lectures, readings, and problem sets, many MOOCs provide interactive user forums to support community interactions among students, professor and teaching assistants (TAs). MOOCs are a recent and widely researched development in distance education which was first introduced in 2006 and emerged as a popular mode of learning in 2012.
